Support Services Division

Purpose
The Cumberland County Sheriff 's Office Support Services Division has many functions. Through a community relations mindset, the Sheriff 's Office supports many nonprofit organizations that directly benefit the citizens of Cumberland County. These include the Volunteers In Police Services (VIPS) and Explorer Post #3, a partnership with TRIAD, and many youth programs aimed at ensuring the success of youth in the Cumberland County communities.

Many functions of the Support Services Division work behind the scenes offsetting the cost of business through procurement of grants, improving the way we do business through compliance with the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) and by continuous employee training ensuring the best practices by all employees at the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.
