National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

This year's National Night Out was held at the Windham High School. Despite the threat of bad weather, we made it until the end!

There were K-9 and drone demos. Windham's DARE program had a tank of water so people could try their hand at kayaking and there were hot dogs and hamburgers for all!

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, the Gorham Police Department, and the Windham Police Department are your neighbors. We enjoy every opportunity that we can get together with you to chat and keep our neighborhoods safe.

Mark your calendars for next year's National Night Out. August 6, 2019!!
