As Chief Deputy of the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, my responsibilities include over-site of approximately 260 employees from all division of the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office. My job is similar to a Chief Operating Officer of a company in the private sector.
With a yearly budget of over $19 million, I am tasked with ensuring that the monies are allocated in a way in which we can responsibly serve our constituents while remaining fiscally responsible.

Chief Deputy Gagnon is on the Board of Directors for the Maine Chiefs of Police where he is an integral member of the Training and Standards Committee.
