Community Service

Inmates working in the Community Service Program are able to give back to society, build self-esteem and learn job skills that can be applied to employment once they are released.

Non Profit Organizations
The Community Service Program inmates provide an average labor savings of $550,000 for non profit organizations each year.

If you think that your nonprofit organization could benefit from the labor savings provided by the Community Service Program please email Deputy Mary Sorrells, or email Corrections Officer Rachel Welch.

Or call the Community Corrections Center at 207-774-5939, ext. 2131.
