Reverend Jeffrey McIlwain provides religious services for the inmates at the Cumberland County Jail. Services include bible studies, planned lessons, and discussion groups, which are supported by spiritual volunteers from the Cumberland County community.

Reverend McIlwain accommodates all religions, and helps inmates remain connected to their respective practices. He provides spiritual services to the Cumberland County Staff as well as to the inmates. The Reverend is an integral support partner during times of great stress, and can work as a liaison between inmates and Corrections Officers.

Reverend McIlwain works throughout the community receiving support from all denominations to help reduce recidivism by giving inmates a sense of belonging to their spiritual community.
